Your learning will include vocals-specific classes, ensemble sessions, and theory lessons in our cutting-edge Mac Labs. At BIMM, you’ll be part of a passionate and supportive community, with like-minded individuals who are ready to uplift and inspire you.

Choose your own path
As you build your foundational knowledge and skills, you’ll begin to develop your own style and unique interests. That’s where our undergraduate vocals course excels, offering option modules that allow you to forge your own path.
With a broad selection of modules available, you’ll refine your skills in areas like stylistic awareness, improvisation, music theory, and composition. In your third year, you’ll create an extended piece of work on a topic that interests you, guided by one-on-one sessions with an expert in your field.
Whichever vocals course you choose, you’ll graduate with not only essential skills but also a distinct artistic identity that reflects your personal passions and goals.
Our Creative Futures Team is committed to helping you gain performance experience, whether that’s by contributing to BIMM’s own record label, playing at BIMM gigs, or accessing paid gigs through our extensive industry connections. For example, we’ve had students perform at prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury, The Great Escape, 2000Trees, and many more.
We also have a Student House Band scheme, where you can audition to become part of an exclusive group of session musicians. As a member, you’ll be paid to perform in lessons and assessments, and at a variety of BIMM events.
The Creative Futures Team offer one-to-one sessions where you’ll receive personalised careers guidance. They’ll also alert you to all the relevant job opportunities and internships that come in from our industry partners.
