Bryan Hargreaves, Senior Lecturer, Drums
Bryan’s list of drumming credits makes for an eclectic who’s who. He’s worked with bands and artists including Ben E. King, Brian May, The Supremes, John Legend, Mika, The Temptations and Glen Campbell.
Richard Young, Drums Lecturer
Richard studied Drum Kit and Percussion at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, gaining a 1st Class Honours degree. Since leaving Birmingham he has toured Sri Lanka and Bangladesh with the legendary “John Mayer’s Indo Jazz Fusions” and toured extensively in Europe and North America with Psych-Folk pioneers “The Earlies”.
Richard Jupp, Drums Lecturer
Richard Jupp teaches Drums at BIMM Institute Manchester. He is the co-founder, songwriter, and drummer in the award-winning band Elbow, with whom he performed and recorded for over 25 years. In that time he toured the world playing at all of the major music venues, festivals, arenas, and stadiums. The band has been nominated for/won several major music awards including a BRIT, NME, Ivor Novello, and Mercury Music Prize.
