Vocals Graduate to Perform at Carnegie Hall
BIMM Dublin Vocals Graduate Sinéad Furlong is set to Perform in Manhattan at the legendary Carnegie Hall as part of ‘Total Vocal with Deke Sharon’ presented by DCINY (Distinguished Concerts International New York).
Sinéad and forty other members of Dublin based vocal ensemble, The Line Up Choir, will be taking to the stage in Carnegie Hall on Sunday 24th March to perform with singers from all over the world for Total Vocal with Deke Sharon of Pitch Perfect and ‘The Sing Off’ fame.
Total Vocal is a celebration of contemporary A Cappella vocals and features performances from singers and choir ensembles from all over the world, from Dublin to Croatia and even Hong Kong. The event is led by arranger/producer Deke Sharon, and will also feature celebrity guest performances from the cast members of hit movie ‘Pitch Perfect’, Disney’s DCappella, and ‘The Sing-Off’.
Sinéad has also been selected by Deke Sharon, along with three of her fellow choir members, to perform as a soloist during the show. She described how she feels about being selected to feature in such a high profile role at the event.
“I still can’t quite believe that I’m going to be performing at Carnegie Hall. A lot of hard work has gone into preparing for this performance over the last few months from the choir and from our MD Roisin Savage and I really can’t wait!”
We wish Sinéad the very best of luck along with all the other vocalists for the event, and look forward to hearing all about the trip to New York City on her return.
