BIMM Institute Dublin, home to Ireland’s most talented developing new artists, is proud to announce the third year of the Dermot Kennedy Foundation Diploma in Professional Musicianship Scholarship a practical and vocational, part-time course ideal for musicians looking to further their abilities.
Dermot Kennedy, one of Ireland’s most successful singer-songwriters is again offering his support to new artists as Dermot partners with BIMM Institute Dublin for a third year with this new scholarship aiding burgeoning musicians who are preparing to launch their music career.
The scholarship recipient will have their course fees paid in full .
The Scholarship will offer one lucky student a coveted place on our practical and vocational, part-time Foundation Diploma in Professional Musicianship course that’s perfect for musicians looking to further their abilities. It’s part of our continued commitment to support new Irish artists.
Dermot’s debut album “Without Fear”, released in 2019, is the longest running #1 album in the Irish Chart by an Irish Artist since records began. How to Apply for The Dermot Kennedy Foundation Diploma in Professional Musicianship Scholarship
Applicants must first apply for the Foundation Diploma in Professional Musicianship and will then be sent the scholarship application form. Any existing applicants will receive the scholarship application form via email.
The winner will be chosen from a shortlist of suitable applicants, with Dermot deciding who the scholarship student will be. We will announce the winner in early September.
