Pilton Releases Remix on Sony Imprint
BIMM Bristol Music Production student ‘Pilton’ has just released a fresh new remix for american alt-pop act XYLO.
The 19 year old producer and artist – who has also remixed for the likes of American EDM hitmakers ‘The Chainsmokers’ and indie electronic duo ‘The Spacies’ – has just released his own take on XYLO‘s latest single ‘I Don’t Want To See You Anymore’ on Sony Music imprint, Disruptor Records.
Pilton, a second year BA (Hons) student, has been creating his own original music for the last five years, only delving into the fast paced world of remix releases within the past 12 months. In fact, he has already learned the key skill of staying ahead of the game and keeping himself busy.
“In terms of remixes, I also have a lot coming up such as a new remix for ‘The Chainsmoker’s latest single ‘This Feeling’, which I vibe with a lot.” Said Pilton. “I’m always working on new content from singles to remixes!”
The young producer owes his early success as a remixer to a “self-produced network of contacts and strong self promotion” within the influential circles of managers and producers he has found himself rubbing shoulders with since releasing his own tracks independently.
If his current trajectory is anything to go by, we believe Pilton is most definitely a name to keep an eye out for in the very near future.
