Music Business Student Interns at Communion
Music Business undergraduate Lisa Lindfors has taken advantage of BIMM’s work experience and internships scheme and has landed herself a role at Communion Music.
The BIMM London student is currently in the third and final year of her degree, which is when all the skills and knowledge gained from her course will start to be fully employed in a real music business environment.
Lisa’s role as a Live Intern means she’s actively involved in the ‘Communion Presents’ team, including roles such as online content research, social media posting, customer mailing lists, venue scheduling, pitching support bands for larger acts, assisting in meetings and representing the company at live events.
Lisa has really enjoyed her time at Communion so far, stating;
“Working for Communion is absolutely brilliant – I’m surrounded by great people, work with incredible artists and most importantly I learn loads everyday! This internship really pushes me to take responsibility and challenge myself and I really feel like what I do makes a difference.”
We’re incredibly pleased this promising young undergraduate is getting such invaluable experience in such a varied and active role at Communion. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on her progress once she completes her course later this year.
