For a number of years, BIMM’s Live Sound and Events Diploma has been a popular choice for secondary school graduates looking to break in the music industry. Now, to ensure the diploma is at the cutting edge of current music industry trends, we’ve made the course even better.
In today’s music industry, flexibility is the key to success, which is why our Live Sound and Events Diploma has been reviewed and re-launched with a new name – Music Production and Live Sound Events.
As the name suggests, this two-year, multifaceted course now offers an increased focus on music production in the studio, giving you the tools to mix all kinds of music using the latest software, as well as providing you with the skills required to create amazing live-sound mixes in all sorts of event environments.
The course is the equivalent to three A-Levels and includes modules in areas such as Music Production, Live Sound, Music Business and Events, so you’ll not only gain music technology knowledge but will also learn the various important elements of putting on your own live-music events.
That’s not all though! If you were looking to study a subject such as this in half the time, you’ll be pleased to learn that both our Brighton and Manchester campuses also offer a fast-track, 1-year option (equivalent to two A-levels), which is available for applicants aged 17 years or above.
