Former BIMM student teams up with Atlantic Records
Solomon Adesiyan, former BIMM Institute Dublin student and CEO and Director of Trust It Entertainment, has agreed on an exciting business venture with the powerhouse record label Atlantic Records UK.
Atlantic Records is home to some of the UK’s most recognised artists, including Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Clean Bandit, Jess Glynne, Rudimental, and many more. Now, they’ll provide investment and development for the artists signed to Trust It Entertainment, Solomon’s already successful label. This is a massive moment for Solomon himself and the culture surrounding drill and rap music in Ireland.
Trust It Entertainment x Atlantic Records
Solomon founded Trust It Entertainment back in 2016. It’s a label that provides a home for up-and-coming artists like A92, Offica, Andre Fazaz, and a host of other Irish acts. This new joint-venture deal will see Solomon work closely with Atlantic Records UK and act as a consultant for Atlantic, both in an A&R and cultural capacity.
“They’re moving the needle culturally.”

Ed Howard and Briony Turner, Co-Presidents at Atlantic Records UK, said: “Trust It Entertainment is the most exciting label in Ireland for Black music right now. Not only are they leading the charge when it comes to the rise of Irish hip-hop and drill, but they’re moving the needle culturally, and we’re extremely excited to have the opportunity to help share their incredible artists with the world.”
Solomon Adesiyan, CEO and Director of Trust It Entertainment, told us: “We’re really happy to be partnering with the team at Atlantic, as with their backing, we’ll have the resources to further find and develop the best talent in Ireland. In addition, it’ll be great to tap into Atlantic’s global network and showcase our artists on an international level.”
“This new partnership is a great investment for the scene.”

Solomon added: “People can support by hyping up every release and sharing to everyone and just give the music a chance. You will like Irish hip-hop. We are creating dope music. Any way that you can endorse the scene, do. Spread the word. This new partnership is a great investment for the scene. We have the machine backing of Atlantic/Warner International on any release.”
When asked about his time at BIMM Institute Dublin, Solomon praised the staff and his surroundings. He told us: “David Byrne from my Music Business class was a blessing to me starting off. Ann-Marie was very supportive on the label side too. I was quite friendly with all my lecturers, and the only reason I didn’t finish is because of how hard I was pushing my company.”
Huge congrats to Solomon! We’re super proud and wish you continued success. Check out more success stories here.
