Ella Mai Joins Bruno Mars on U.S Tour
BIMM London R’n’B sensation Ella Mai recently confirmed that she’ll be supporting none other that multi-platinum selling pop sensation Bruno Mars on the U.S leg of his upcoming 24k Magic tour.
Bruno handpicked a whole host of new support acts to join him for the tour this Autumn after U.S rapper Cardi B announced her departure from the line-up to focus on the arrival of her new baby daughter.
In a characteristically brilliant homemade Instagram post, Bruno announced that BIMM London vocalist Ella Mai will join him for six dates of the 24k Magic tour finale this September alongside fellow R’n’B stars Boys II Men, Ciara and Charlie Wilson. Ella will join Bruno on the road for seven dates across Brooklyn, Nashville, Tulsa and Los Angeles.
The incredibly high profile support slot comes after a hugely successful few years for the young vocalist. She was signed to DJ Mustard’s ’10 Summers’ label back in 2016 after he stumbled upon her self-recorded cover versions on her Instagram page. Fast-forward to July 2018 and Ella’s single ‘Boo’d Up’ had reached platinum status, reaching the number one spot in the official American R’n’B chart; making her the first British artist to do so since 1992.
We’re incredibly pleased to hear Ella’s great news and look forward to seeing what’s next for the young star after the tour.
You can stay updated on Ella’s tour schedule, releases and music news via her official Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.
