BIMM to Sponsor Liverpool Sound City Stage
BIMM are delighted to announce they will officially be sponsoring a stage at Liverpool Sound City, 2018. This years’ roster sees artists such as DMA’s, Peace, Idles and BIMM graduates Black Honey already confirmed to perform at the festival, which takes place in the infamous Baltic triangle creative quarter.
Now in its eleventh year, the Liverpool Sound City proudly marks the start of the UK music festival season. Last years’ event saw BIMM artists Tom Dunne, Crimsons, Chay Snowdon, Fur and Æ MAK perform on the Cavern stage. And this year’s event sees yet more performance opportunities for students from across multiple campuses.
The opportunities don’t stop there though. There’s also plenty of invaluable experience placements in store for BIMM Manchester’s non-performance students. In the months leading up to the event, festival organisers will be recruiting exemplary individuals to fulfil roles in Production/Event Management and Marketing, as well as a Conference Assistant.
And for those looking to get their hands dirty with more practical roles at the festival, there are plenty of logistics positions up for grabs too, including Stage Manager Assistant, Runner, Artist Liaison Officer, Conference Assistants and Backline Tech Assistants. Whereas Music Journalism students will have the chance to cover the festival on a press angle, with follow-up blogs, social media posts and artist reviews.
