BIMM students shine at DIY Magazine’s ‘Class of 2025’ launch party
BIMM Music Institute’s ongoing partnership with DIY Magazine continues to offer incredible opportunities for students. This year, they had the chance to perform and work at the ‘Class of 2025’ launch party – and they absolutely smashed it.
DIY Magazine’s ‘Class of’ issue is the ultimate guide to the next big thing in music – the artists who are about to make waves in the year ahead. Previous editions have featured trailblazers like Wet Leg, Black Country, New Road, Ashnikko, and Biig Piig, along with BIMM alumni Lime Garden, Phoebe Green, Fontaines D.C., and Yonaka.
The launch party for ‘Class of 2025’ took place on 10 December 2024 at Colours in Hoxton, with BIMM Manchester’s Mere Amore kicking off the event.
Students at BIMM London also played vital roles in the celebrations. Finlay Harrison, Rosie Gault, Emily O’leary, and Lara Tedesco all worked as journalists, while Jonathan Martin handled front of house, Pietro Vianello worked as a venue rep, and Aashika Jain took care of artist liaison.
We caught up with Event Management student Pietro Vianello, who shared:
“For me, just being here you can watch and observe and then after you go home, and you don’t even realise but you gain so much experience.”
We’re incredibly proud of our students for their hard work at this event, and we can’t wait to team up with DIY again next year.
