BIMM Sponsors launch of DIY’s Class of 2019
BIMM brand associates DIY Magazine will soon be launching their ‘Class of 2019’ – a detailed rundown of talented up-and-coming artists from whom the new music tastemakers are expecting to hear great things within the next twelve months.
The list will be made available in DIY’s upcoming Dec/Jan issue, which you can pre-order now, and to celebrate its launch, BIMM are sponsoring an event featuring a select few of the championed artists. Namely, Sports Team, Anteros and Lady Bird – with a special guest appearance from BIMM Brighton alumni Wild Front.
To tie-in with BIMM’s active industry experience program, a selection of our Event Management and Music Business students will also be working behind the scenes at this event to ensure the whole thing goes off with a bang.
Last year’s Class of 2018 long-list included the likes of BIMM Manchester alumni Pale Waves, who have gone on to achieve huge success in the U.S this past year, plus BIMM Brighton graduates and Atlantic Records signees, Yonaka, who recently supported the likes of Frank Carter And The Rattlesnakes, Drenge and the Libertines.
The bands will be taking to the stage at House of Vans on Friday December 7th for the launch event, which is entirely free to the public. Spaces however, are extremely limited. So, if you wish to attend, you’ll need to head to houseofvanslondon.com to claim your spot.
Entrance is on a first come, first served basis. Doors: 19:00 – Late, Station Approach Road Entrance
