BIMM London Graduate Performs with James Bay on SNL

BIMM London’s Bmus (Hons) Vocals graduate Frida Touray has continued on her path of success with a recent live performance alongside fellow alumnus and Grammy nominee James Bay.

The young singer has established herself as a prolifically talented session vocalist and front-woman since completing her degree. But her backing vocal performance for James on this recent promotional appearance on hit U.S show ‘Saturday Night Live’ is arguably her highest profile gig yet, with prime time figures for the show averaging at just under 11 million viewers per week.

The impressive news comes in the wake of a host of other session accolades for Frida, including performances alongside MOBO Award nominee Lianne La Havas and multi-platinum selling pop rockers Coldplay.

Aside from her career as a session musician, Frida also fronts her own band Native Dancer, who have performed at the Love Supreme Jazz festival and SXSW in Austin, Texas.
