BIMM Brighton elevates partnership with Brighton Music Conference
We are delighted to announce the expansion of our partnership with Brighton Music Conference, which will offer unparalleled opportunities for BIMM Brighton students this year.
Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the Brighton Music Conference (BMC) is widely regarded as the UK’s leading electronic music conference and networking event for industry professionals and music lovers alike. Returning to Brighton from 24 to 26 May this year, the event will be partly hosted in the iconic i360 tower.
The conference brings together industry-leading delegates and speakers at over 60 talks, seminars and workshops alongside the latest tech, networking and club events that run throughout the conference.
Attended by thousands of experienced music industry professionals, DJs, producers, labels, distribution companies, promoters and venues, BMC enables attendees to learn, form new business partnerships, showcase products, expand existing networks, and network with like-minded individuals and companies.
As part of this partnership, BIMM students can enjoy access to the following:
- A free BMC conference pass
- Exclusive pre-events with industry experts and labels in the months leading up to the conference (TBA)
- Networking and learning opportunities with electronic music professionals at panels, workshops, and demo lounges
- DJ performance opportunities
- Industry placements and paid internships
BIMM Institute Brighton College Principal Martin Wright added: “We are delighted to grow our partnership with BMC as patron of our Electronic Music Production course and share a common vision of supporting and developing the next generation of music professionals. This partnership has and continues to provide our students with invaluable insights, connections, and exposure to the dynamic and diverse world of electronic music.”
BMC Founder and Director Billy Mauseth added: “BMC is thrilled to partner with BIMM Institute Brighton, as we recognise the importance and potential of music education in shaping the industry’s future. This partnership will enable us to showcase the talent, creativity, and passion of BIMM students and offer them a platform to network and learn from the best in the business.”
