Architects’ images of BIMM Birmingham revealed
We’re eagerly anticipating the completion of our brand new state-of-the-art BIMM Birmingham campus, which is due to open to students this September. To give you an idea of what you can expect from the new Floodgate St building in Digbeth, here are a selection of architects images to showcase the site’s innovative facilities.
The former warehouse, a Grade B listed building, will comprise of two auditoriums with capacities of 120 and 100 people, along with a recording studio, boardroom, tutorial rooms, a Mac suite, songwriting room and drum room.
The project has been spearheaded by local Birmingham architects BHP Design who have so far impressed us with their stylish, spacious and modern designs which fall in line with our own vision for learning within an inspiring space that serves our students.
BIMM Birmingham’s Executive Principal Dara Kilkenny, who also heads up our Manchester and Dublin colleges, shared more details of our exciting move and revealed the reasons for offering a high standard of music education in the West Midlands. Dara explains:
“It made total sense for BIMM to have a college in the UK’s fastest growing music city. The building development work is progressing to schedule, and we can’t wait to see it all finished”
BIMM Birmingham will offer BA Honours degree courses in Drums, Bass, Guitar, Vocals, Songwriting, Music Production and Music Business and is open for applications via UCAS.
