Tom Swann
Associate Lecturer, Bass *
Tom teaches Bass at BIMM Insitute Brighton. He started his musical career after leaving BIMM Brighton aged 21, playing for the Scottish band 'Speedway' who enjoyed three top 40 UK hits and a top 40 album. During this time he also supported bands such as Bryan Adams, Blue and Fun Loving Criminals.
He then played in the rock band 'The Crave' for the next 10 years, playing many tours across the UK and the USA and opened for many acts such as Status Quo, Deep Purple & Shinedown.
Tom has also played as a session musician during these times for artists such as Paolo Nutini, Ronan Keating, Anastasia, Chesney Hawkes, Ordinary Boys, Beverley Knight and Gary Moore.
