FE Study Skills tutor *
Stan is BIMM Brighton’s FE Study Skills tutor and a specialist learning support assistant. This entails teaching the study skills module, working with students in scheduled one-to-one sessions, and running regular drop-in group support sessions.
Stan aims to ensure that students have a stress-free and enjoyable experience during their studies and the support necessary to deal with any difficulties that may arise.
After finishing a BA Hons in Bass at BIMM, Stan studied for a Musicology MA at the University of Bristol. Since then, he has worked in education in various capacities, from ESL in South Korea to behavioural support in mainstream secondary schools and supporting SEN schools and schools solely dealing with autistic spectrum students.
