Sarah Unwin
Course Leader, Event Management *
Sarah is the Course Leader for Event Management at BIMM Music Institute Manchester. She is an arts and events producer with a specialism in digital and new media projects. She is based in Manchester and has produced events across the UK, in Moscow and Singapore. Her background is in festival production and music venue management but she is experienced in producing a variety of event styles including conferences, public realm interventions and art exhibitions.
She is passionate about the developing role of digital in events, and delivers modules in digital marketing and event design at BIMM. She also works freelance developing award-winning education and professional development workshops/programmes for clients and partners such as FutureEverything, British Council, Arts Council England, The Great Exhibition of the North and Manchester International Festival.
In her free time, Sarah volunteers as a mentor for Arts Emergency; working with young people to overcome barriers to participation in education and the creative industries.
