As a session guitarist Jim has extensive live and studio experience with artists as diverse as Mark Anthony Turnage, This Mortal Coil, Pete Murphy, Maxi Priest and M-People.
As a songwriter/producer he has co-written with successful writing teams including The Matrix (Kate Perry, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears etc) and Swamp (Natalie Imbruglia, Pixie Lott). Jim also writes and produces many scores for TV and film including the first four feature films by much-lauded director Ben Wheatley.
In 2006, his composition earned him an Ivor Novello award nomination, and in 2018 he has been nominated for best score at The César Awards (France’s Oscars) and the BIFA awards in the UK.
