Dr. Paul J Rogers

Dr Paul J Rogers is the Course Leader for Postgraduate Studies at BIMM Music Institute Birmingham. He is a composer, producer and sound artist. His research interests include acoustic ecology and noise composition. Paul holds a PhD in Sound Composition and was previously awarded a Masters in Studio Composition from Goldsmiths University of London.

His work as a composer and sound designer for visual art forms has produced internationally touring soundtracks for theatre, film, and dance, which have been screened and performed worldwide. Paul has a publishing deal through Universal Production Music, who publishes his music in sync with TV, including writing music for shows on BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 5 and many international TV programmes worldwide. He also produces other artists and performs live on guitar and electronic instruments.
