Danny Champion
Music Business and Event Management Lecturer *
Danny teaches Music Business at BIMM Music Institute Bristol. He spent seven years between 2006-2016 working across music publishing, synchronisation and music supervision in London.
Danny’s area of expertise is in music publishing, licensing in all of its forms and working with music and media. His breadth of knowledge comes from time spent with firms as diverse as major and independant publishers Sony/ATV & peermusic respectively, multinational management firm ThreeSixZero Group and music licensing/supervision agency Soundlounge.
Danny is currently a music licensing consultant based across Bristol and Manchester. He also teaches across multiple courses at two of the BIMM locations and is heading up a new music publishing endeavour for BIMM students. He also hosts a music industry podcast, Behind The Business, which launched in October 2018.
