Music Business (Lead Lecturer)
Ciaran holds an Honours Degree in Music from City University and The Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London and is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant.
Ciaran is also a co-founder of both Paragon Records and Milestone Management rosters. He’s an artist-focused music executive with a proven track record of delivering domestic and international release campaigns for artists from both companies.
He has secured and negotiated numerous record and publishing deals on behalf of clients with major and independent companies, including Warner Music, Sony Music, Universal Music, Concord Group and others across the UK, Europe, Asia, the US and Canada.
He has extensive management experience through international touring of music acts, working with some of the industry’s leading live agencies and promoters: Paradigm, Live Nation, CAA, Primary Talent and others. He has led the executive production and financial management of numerous small to large-scale artist release campaigns, commercial record label campaigns and wider music-related productions in Ireland and internationally.
Furthermore, he has a detailed understanding and experience of commercial equity investment, venture capital and fundraising environments broadly at the arts, media, entertainment and business cross-section.
