Chris teaches Bass at BIMM Music Institute Bristol. After graduating from BIMM in 2013 with a First Class Degree, Chris has kept a busy schedule as a professional musician. Comfortable playing in many genres, he performs regularly with a wide variety of artists and has gained extensive live performance and studio experience.
Credits include performances at 2000 Trees Festival; The Great Escape Festival and BBC Radio Sessions, as well as several international tours and soundtrack work for film and television including Sky and Aardman Animations.
In 2013 Chris founded ‘Jamerson Analysed’ - an educational resource for bass players wishing to take a closer look at the playing of the great James Jamerson. He also established his own record label ‘Tapedown Records’ in 2016.
