Adi Winman

Senior Lecturer

Starting out at Pink Floyd’s Britannia Row Studios and then Great Linford Manor Studios, Adi has held various behind-the-scenes positions across many musical and sound-related disciplines. As an engineer and producer, he has worked with the likes of Pulp, Jamiroquai, and Shed Seven. He has also produced many tracks that have synced on shows such as Friends & Match of The Day.

Adi has also helped developers such as N.I. and Sonic Couture to design plugins as well as the design of physical recording spaces (including his own). In gaming, he has designed and synced sound and music for nine major racing titles including many in the classic MotoGP series, managing to get a lot of young independent artists AND student tracks (over 100) onto many games, sparking an interest in Music Education as well as the intricacies of game audio implementation.

He has run his own commercial studio, been a product manager for a small indie label and loves making quirky analogue beats in his shed. To wrap it all up, he has multiple qualifications including an MSc in Acoustics, an MA in Music Production and a PGCE from the Institute of Education.
