Information for employers
Our Creative Futures Team wants to hear from employers, event organisers, record labels, PR companies, digital agencies, and anyone who can provide opportunities for our students and graduates.
Most students complete at least one work placement during their course, often more. You can share work experience opportunities with us at any time, in any format – whether you need an extra pair of hands for one day or support for several weeks or months.
In their second year, BIMM students can take an option module called ‘Working in the Creative Industries’. This module fosters collaboration between students, employers and BIMM Music Institute. The goal is to enable students to apply their subject knowledge to an authentic industry project, while receiving supervision and support from employers.
Please contact your local Careers Team for more information.
Ways to connect with our students
If you’d like to find talent, share your industry experience, or raise your brand awareness with our students and alumni, please contact Mark Bowers, Head of Careers.
If you’d like to discuss opportunities to partner with BIMM University across all our faculties (music, film, performing arts and creative technology) please contact Mel Thornton, Associate Dean, Creative Futures.
