After her time with us at BIMM Music Institute London, Izzy was hand-selected to join American Metalcore band Conquer/Divide as their new lead vocalist in late 2014.
Izzy’s already fruitful career as a YouTuber/Guitarist caught the group’s attention, as she had already accumulated masses of followers and plays on her own channel. The band then signed with LA-based Metalcore label and a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, Artery Recordings.
After releasing the band’s sterling debut studio album, self-titled ‘Conquer Divide’, the band shot to success, scoring a top #5 in the iTunes Metal Chart and ranked #8 Billboard’s Top HeatSeekers chart.
The band went on to support the release of their album on the Allstars Tour, which went across the entirety of North America. They also played a plethora of festivals, giving the band a chance to tour with the biggest names in Metalcore, including the likes of; Crown The Empire, Beartooth, In This Moment, Motionless In White, Attila, The Color Morale, For Today, Sirens and Sailors, Like Moths To Flames, Marmozets, Chiodos, Palisades, Kublai Kahn, and Enter Shikari. The band has also toured across North America with Upon A Burning Body, Dance Gavin Dance, Iwrestledabearonce, Capture The Crown, Slaves, Outline In Color, Alesana, Dayshell, A Skylit Drive, Oceano, Myka Relocate, Within The Ruins, The Browning, It Lies Within and The Funeral Portrait.
The band went on a brief hiatus, returning to action in 2020 with ‘Chemicals’ their first song since 2015. Released with an accompanying music video, ‘Chemicals’ received critical acclaim, hailed by Alternative Press Magazine as ‘a contender for the best hard rock/metalcore crossover of the year’.
We hope to see that band’s success continue, and we pray for a second studio album sometime this year!
