Live Sound Engineer
BIMM London Music and Sound Production student Bella Unwin has been working as a professional touring live sound engineer.
She secured a role as the touring FOH engineer for Saint Levant and a stage tech for Matthew W. Herbert, all whilst freelancing at venues around London.
Her final project whilst studying with us explored ‘The Attainability of Microtonal Compositions using Accessible Tools’, which won her the Music Production Award from The Musicians’ Company.
Bella added: “It felt very rewarding and delightful to win the award after a long year of multitasking. Although I really enjoyed the whole process. BIMM London was a great experience for me. My tutors were all supportive and nourishing of all my ambitions for the work I wanted to create. It really is what you make of it.”
