Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood
Producer, Bassist
Having studied at BIMM Music Institute Bristol, Adam found success as a multi-instrumentalist for progressive-metal band Periphery after parting with the band Red Seas Fire. He worked on four of the band’s albums and toured with other big bands including, DevilDriver, Dream Theater and The Dillinger Escape Plan.
Whilst with Periphery, Adam headlined the Pepsi Max stage at Download festival and toured with the band extensively. Periphery are one of the first bands that coined the term ‘djent’: a progressive metal subgenre.
Adam also works as a session and demo guitarist for several bands, including Bare Knuckle Pickups. He runs a music production business with clients including Solace, Intervals and Essence and he’s well known for his music production techniques, specifically for his drumming sample packs. He now runs GetGood Drums with some of his previous band members. GetGood Drums offers high-quality software that is approachable for beginners and professionals alike, with their products spanning drum libraries, midi packs, and virtual studio technologies (VSTs).
